Our client is seeking a Draftsperson for a 3 – 6 month contract position!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Design plans using computer aided design and drafting software (Civil 3D).
  • Produce client drawings from design information in accordance with good industry practice.
  • Create and modify solid models and detailed drawings from rough sketches models layouts.
  • Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures installations and construction projects such as roads, drainage plans, oil and gas pads, etc.
  • Draw, plan, and layout diagram’s using cross sections and surveys to represent elevations, contours, formations.
  • Assist Estimating team with earthwork volumes, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Technology for NAIT, or similar.
  • Minimum 1 year of civil drafting experience including roadway design, drainage, excavation volume estimated, ponds, etc.
  • Candidates with more than 1 year of experience will be considered as well.
  • Proficient with Civil 3D.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail orientated to ensure accuracy of specifications.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Wage will be dependent on experience.
