The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Field Safety Manager for their Grand Prairie location. Please read on if interested!


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Ensure overall adherence to company health and safety standards.
  • Monitor policies and procedures while maintaining on going knowledge of local and provincial guidelines.
  • Perform safety inspections to audit the effectiveness of the safety program.
  • Lead the development of the safety program in your assigned territory.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings to management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of OHS regulation and code and be able to pass along to field personnel.
  • Build a maintain strong relationships with internal and external personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Health and Safety leadership position.
  • Experience with COR auditing and Safety Program development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite.
  • HSE related experience in oil field or drilling operations preferred.
  • Post-secondary education related to health and safety is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel office personnel and management and clients travel within your assigned territory.
