A dynamic and highly entrepreneurial opportunity exists for a seasoned Finance Manager. Our South Edmonton based client is looking for an individual with extensive experience to join their growing team as the new Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be highly business minded, highly collaborative, driven and possess a natural ability to streamline processes and while seeing existing opportunities. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Direct the management of financial operations, including the production and analyses of the financial reporting
  • performance
  • Prepare and manage the monthly financial forecasts, internal financial needs and the annual operating budget
  • Establish and monitor credit limits and credit
  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting.
  • Preparation of monthly cost review and monthly variance analysis
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, budgeting and forecasting and provide cash flow analysis on a weekly basis, while ensuring the transactional business requirements are met
  • Manage IT requirements
  • Provide advice and support to the CEO and senior leadership team
  • Oversee manage accounting team and oversee operations within finance
  • Maintain the banking and treasury functions for the organization

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10years progressive management experience an asset
  • Extensive experience in senior finance role within a fast growing organization
  • Effective skills in strategic planning
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work and multi-task
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders both in ht office and on site.
  • Strong conflicting resolution skills and proven ability to manage change
  • Strong systems background, as well as Implementation experience
  • Strong vision and ethics with high level of business integrity
  • Strong sense of confidentiality
