Are you a Branch Manager in Fort McMurray with experience in the competitive energy services sector? Experience with unions and fleets would be highly valued.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Branch Manager for their Fort McMurray operation. They need a strong, forward thinking leader with the ability to plan ahead and balance business needs with needs of other stakeholders. You will be responsible for all aspects of this business unit from fleet maintenance to P&L. Must live in Fort McMurray area or be open to a relocation.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Strong understanding of and respect for safety in the workplace.
  • Implement and monitor fleet maintenance program.
  • Develop and manage a customer service program.
  • Field sales and business development.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and establish new prospects.
  • Develop a strong team approach with employees.
  • Training, mentoring, and managing operators and supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10+ years of Management experience with full accountability for area of responsibility.
  • Previous experience managing a team of 60 + employees.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment.
  • Previous background in transportation, mobile equipment, and/or energy or construction service companies required.
  • Hydrovac experience would be an asset
  • Class 1 or 3 license preferred.
  • Sales and business development experience and familiarity with the local market an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and customer service orientation to build long term productive business relationships.
  • Pre-employment D&A testing required.
