The Opportunity

Our client in SE Calgary is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for their dynamic team! The successful candidate for this role will be passionate, responsible and ambitious!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Leading by example and encouraging others to follow the company’s values, policies and safe work practices.
  • Ensure the company is following all Health and Safety legislations.
  • Incident and near miss reporting.
  • Implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Effective involvement within the HR team.
  • Involvement in company initiatives.
  • Backup to other HR team members during absences.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and interview processes.
  • Assisting with onboarding of new employees.
  • Training and development.
  • Performance review and management.
  • Helping to ensure employee event and activity engagement.
  • Management coaching.
  • Develop HR systems.
  • Audit and assist with process improvements that align with the company’s vision and culture.
  • Create and deliver workshops.
  • Prepare and provide needed HR reporting as required.
  • Special projects as assigned.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma specializing in Human Resource Management.
  • CHRP Designation considered an asset.
  • 3 – 5 years of previous relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using ADP software considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Self motivating.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also thrives in a team environment.
