An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior HR Assistant for our client located in West Edmonton!


The Opportunity


Our client requires a junior HR administrative assistant for a 3 month temporary opportunity. The primary focus of this position will be assisting the HR team in providing support for all Human Resource related functions.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Completing reference checks.
  • Pre-screening resumes and booking interviews for the HR team.
  • Collecting pre-employment documentation and preparing new hire binders.
  • Booking pre-employment testing, processing new hire paperwork.
  • Uploading documents and general tracking of information.
  • Preparing general correspondence and other general administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related administrative experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Post secondary with an emphasis on Human Resources preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary will be based on related experience and will be in the range of $21.00 – $24.00 per hour on a temporary basis.
