The Opportunity

Our client in downtown Calgary is seeking a Human Resources & Benefits Coordinator for their commercial real estate advisory and capital firm. This role takes extreme organization skills and the ability to work with a heavy workload, with tight deadlines.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • All administration related to Health and Dental benefit plans, Defined Contribution plans and leaves of absences.
  • Handle all employee inquiries relating to benefits.
  • Work with benefit provider.
  • Research benefits programs within the market.
  • Communications to all staff regarding any changes to their benefit plan.
  • On-boarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Build and maintain employee relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all third-party providers.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree with a focus in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR with benefits experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Works well in a team environment but can work also work well individually.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle high volumes workloads.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines.
