Key Account Responsibilities and Functions


As the HR Generalist, you will be assisting the company’s management team and corporate HR team with:

  • Educating and supporting with legislation and compliance matters, work to lessen risk.
  • Recruitment process; developing job postings and then review candidates through client’s applicant tracking system.
  • Direct role-specific training.
  • Administering recognition programs or areas of improvement, provide tools and teaching necessary for performance development, retention, succession planning.
  • Creating offers of employment and employment letters.
  • Onboarding document administration; payroll, benefits, attendance recording, personnel files, filing.
  • Partnering with managers to understand operational needs; obtaining feedback for program design and creating HR solutions appropriate to their business.
  • Counselling leaders on employee performance issues, disciplinary process and if required conduct exit interviews.
  • Provide a link between managers and corporate HR.
  • Developing and sustaining monthly HR reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Consummate HR professional comfortable in dealing with a diverse group of employees. in a proficient, patient manner.
  • Must have 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
  • Solid understanding of provincial and federal employment legislation and regulations.
  • Previously proven successful corporate HR experience.
  • Strong time management skills, able to multitask ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Post Secondary education specializing in Human Resources Management.
  • Active member in local HR association, actively pursuing CPHR or have designation.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary $65,000-$70,000.
  • Comprehensive Benefit Package.
