Excellent legal assistant opportunity available to work for a mid-size law firm in Downtown Vancouver!
Preferred candidates are those with Corporate Law experience!


The Opportunity

As a legal assistant float, you will work closely with a variety of lawyers. You will be responsible for providing consistent administrative support to assist the workload of other legal administrative assistants. The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail and can adapt to changing priorities.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Prepare legal documents, drafting letters, and client correspondence.
  • Manage file opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain an efficient bring forward system.
  • Coordinate meetings and schedule court hearing dates.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive rapport with lawyers and staff.
  • Reception coverage as required.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Min. 2-5 years of experience in a related legal assistant role.
  • Post-secondary education in a Legal Assistant program.
  • Experience with TSX resources, SEDAR and SEDO is an asset.
  • Strong MS office proficiency.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary will commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
