Fantastic Legal Assistant Opportunity for downtown Vancouver!

The Opportunity

As the Legal Administrative Assistant in the Financial Services Department you would be the main support to one Partner and two Associates in this mid-sized law firm. Our client is seeking a dynamic professional who can work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Only those with previous experience will be considered.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Preparing legal documents
  • Open files
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of lawyers
  • Entering dockets and preparing accounts
  • Proofread and edit all documents and correspondence
  • Calendar and meeting management
  • Scheduling hearing dates
  • Travel arrangements
  • Liaison between clients and lawyers
  • Providing additional support to lawyers and staff as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post secondary diploma or certificate in legal administration
  • Min. 3 years legal administrative assistant experience in corporate and securities.
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Personable and professional
  • Strong multi tasker with superior organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Excels working alone as well as in a team environment
  • Must be adaptable to changing priorities and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary will commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package will be provided
