Legal Administrative Assistant

Currently seeking a full time Legal Administrative Assistant for a small law office located in downtown Calgary!! If you have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrator, please apply now. Only those with experience will be considered.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Prepare letters, memos, and reports
  • Document formatting
  • Filing documents with the Court and provincial/federal corporations
  • Scheduling and meeting arrangements
  • Travel arrangements
  • Answering the phones
  • Assisting the public with queries and directing them appropriately
  • File system maintenance
  • Arrange couriers
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Perform clerical, administrative and general office duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Legal Assistant diploma
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Legal Administrative position
  • Solid knowledge of administrative and legal office procedures
  • Experience working with ProLaw considered an asset
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills are required and testing will be conducted
  • Attention to detail and organization is a must!
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Polished and professional
