We have partnered with a well-established Downtown client who is looking to add experienced legal assistants to their team!

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills! As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will provide ongoing support to the lawyers and staff. The successful candidate will be highly organized and have experience in records management or document control.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Responsible for calendar management including coordination of meetings.
  • Prepare legal documents, drafting letters, and client correspondence.
  • Research and preparation of materials relating to cases.
  • Review and organize client production documents, scanning and coding documents and e-discovery processing.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive rapport with lawyers, co-workers, court staff and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a related legal assistant role.
  • Post secondary education in a Legal Assistant program.
  • Strong MS office proficiency.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both in a collaborative and independent environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary will commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
