The Opportunity

Manager Client Advisement; business development and estimating. While reporting to the CEO, this individual will lead and develop building key client relationships while generating sale opportunities.

The primary objectives for this role is to be the client facing representative for the organization while leading growth. To follow up and maintain the existing client base, initiate and qualify new projects, and to maintain strong business relationships with customers in key designated sectors in Calgary.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Engages in preparation of proposals and contracts for new clients
  • Development and retention strategies to promote revenue growth
  • Communicate business opportunities, generate leads and seek out alliances
  • Assist in the evaluation of personnel assignment for proposals and project tender assignments
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and functions
  • Leads the business development and client satisfaction activities.


  • The ideal candidate will have spent at least 5 years working directly in the construction field either in an operations capacity or an estimating capacity
  • Additional years experience above 5 years is an asset


  • Professional Engineer, CET, Post Secondary Diploma in construction or a related discipline strongly desired
  • Supplementary accreditation in marketing, business administration or sales an asset
