Are you a Mechanical Engineer? Do you have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and your P.Eng? Do you have experience with upstream oil and gas projects?

The Opportunity

Our Edmonton-based EPC client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with both their PE and P.Eng for upcoming projects in the US!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Deliver quality engineering and consulting services to clients on projects in a cost-effective manner.
  • Design facilities and pipelines according to current applicable codes and regulations.
  • Client relationship development, proposal development, regulatory engagement and project engineering.
  • Project management which includes, cost, scope and schedule.
  • Preparation of engineering deliverables including CWP, calculations, data sheet, specifications and drawings.
  • Requesting price quotations from vendors.
  • Creating material requisition forms and purchase orders.
  • Travel to various client sites as required.
  • Mentor junior engineers as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Registered as a P.Eng and PE (US Standard) required.
  • Experience with US-based projects strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient with ASME, API and CSA piping codes.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
