The Opportunity

Our client, one of Canada’s leading General Contractors, is looking for a Mechanical Project Coordinator for their Edmonton operations.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Organize monthly progress application and expedite payment.
  • Maintain project files and preparation of reports.
  • Work with the B.D team to secure work. Develop the client relationships and manage the client’s expectations.
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Complete work orders and change notices.
  • Assist with major construction projects; including the preparation and execution of schedules and work plans.
  • Analyze and process shop drawings.
  • Prepare cost estimates for audit justification or change orders.
  • Attend job site subcontractor and safety meetings.
  • Provide document turnover to client at completion of project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be willing to travel and work a 14×7 rotation. (Rotation is subject to change).
  • 5 years + experience as a Project Coordinator.
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree or diploma required.
  • Experience in a construction environment required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is dependent on experience.
