Temporary Assignment – 5 months with a great possibility of extension

The Opportunity

Our southside client requires a highly competent individual with experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation and coordination of deliveries.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Coordinate the delivery of product routes in a most cost effective manner
  • Communicate with all involved in the transporting of products; handle concerns and questions
  • Prepare a weekly dispatch plan for staff
  • Provide timely reports to GOA services staff
  • Review and authorize hauling invoices
  • Prepare and submit monthly activity summary & statistics to Manager
  • Jointly responsible with other transportation staff to be on call on weekends on a rotation basis (ie: handle emergency calls/questions approximately 1-2 times per month)


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Previous background in a Agriculture or Dairy industry is highly preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and analytical thinking
  • Quick and accurate decision making skills

 Compensation : Min. $23/hr
