Our client is a trusted supplier of expertise and service to clients who rely on them for design, implementation and support of their network and I.T. needs. They are looking for a Palo Alto certified Network Engineer to join their team as a subject matter expert. Located in beautiful British Columbia, this role will allow you to travel regularly throughout the province.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Advise internal and external customers on all things regarding Palo Alto Networks.
  • Understand client needs, design systems to meet current and future demands.
  • Assess and organize implementation/migration projects for clients.
  • Give direction and assist customer teams in the design and implementation of devices.
  • Some laboratory evaluations of devices may be required.
  • Provide ongoing firewall reviews and make recommendations to client care group.
  • Help customer to understand the technology and maintain licenses.
  • Regular review of roadmaps, coordinate communications between client and product management team.
  • Travel throughout B.C. and some neighboring jurisdictions will be required.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills are needed to work for this company.
  • Palo Alto PCSNE certification.
  • 2+ years of Palo Alto Network related experience is needed.
  • 5+ years of working in, or managing a team managing routing and switching.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet demanding timelines.
  • Travel throughout B.C. and some neighboring jurisdictions will be required.
  • Cisco networking certification an asset.
  • Cisco Firepower, Juniper and Checkpoint expertise an asset.
