The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work for 4 months, 30 hours per week in beautiful Vancouver, BC! The successful candidate will be processing vendor invoices in a timely basis and in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Analyzes invoice and expense reports to identify departments and accounts to be charged.
  • Obtains proper verification and authorization of invoices.
  • Codes invoice and expense electronically for payments processing.
  • Diligently maintains historical vendor records by sorting, tracking and filing documents.
  • Administers office supplies inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post secondary education an asset.
  • 1-2 years prior accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits 

The hourly wage for this position will be based on experience and education.
