Are you an ADP WFN expert? A fantastic opportunity awaits for an experienced Payroll Leader on Edmonton’s south side for a 3 month contract, with a well-respected company who has created an unbeatable culture, international recognition and a uniquely niche business model in the manufacturing industry. Must have experience evaluating business needs and able to determine payroll system requirements.  The incumbent will lead a project to optimize our clients time entry to pay process, improve automation and system controls between their ERP system and ADP WFN.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Audit and review current payroll process; documentation of the ‘as-is’ state and business requirements.
  • Work alongside the ERP Specialist and Financial Controller to establish ADP WFN setup, including required earning/deduction/premium codes, pay schedules and pay policies.
  • Determine ADP uploader requirements, work with ERP team to update.
  • Identify training gaps in the time enter & time approval process. Work with ERP team to facilitate training and process documentation.
  • Maintain and reconcile various GL accounts as required.
  • Process the daily operations of the payroll department and maintain payroll information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in payroll.
  • Experience implementing new system requirements.
  • Completion of the PCP certification is an asset.
  • Impeccable organization skills and a proven ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
