The Opportunity

Our enterprise client is growing its Performance Testing team. They required experienced QA’s with both automated and testing experience and have previously worked in a performance testing capacity. They require resources with a minimum of 5 years and at least 8 years to be considered for a lead position. This is a great opportunity to make a large impact on a prominent Edmonton organization.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Develop and execute software tests for functional and performance testing.
  • Identify systems & performance requirements.
  • Create and update plans, reports and dashboards.
  • Gather & analyze data and recommend performance tuning based on findings.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to improve the Performance Testing process.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of related university degree program. Other post secondary education plus experience may be considered.
  • 5 years QA experience for intermediate positions; 8 years QA experience for lead positions (must be a blend of automated and manual testing).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous experience in software development, architecture & infrastructure background.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience working in an insurance and/or financial institution preferred.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Up to $95,000 depending on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
