Legal Assistant – Securities and Capital Markets
The Opportunity

Our downtown Calgary client is seeking not one but two Legal Assistants with experience working in Securities and Capital Markets for their law firm!! Only those with experience in this field will be considered!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Meeting and calendar management.
  • Meeting and conference bookings.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Mail and courier responsibilities.
  • Opening and closing of files.
  • Presentation assistance.
  • Responding to queries.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Data entry and updating files.
  • General admin duties as needed.
  • Create and maintain excel spreadsheets.
  • Assist with billing and credit control processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Legal Assistant Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in Securities and Capital Markets.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Typing speed of 60 wpm or greater.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pleasant phone etiquette.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Proactive thinker.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude!
