Our client is seeking a Project Engineer for a 3+ month contract!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Responsible for designing pavements and roads for both structural and geometric requirements
  • Analyze geotechnical technical data for pavement design
  • Make structural pavement design and geometric road design
  • Design heavy haul roads
  • Prepare design specifications drawings and models
  • Design the project and design details for the drafting team
  • Coordinate details between construction work at the project and the original design developed
  • Prepare an assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimation
  • Read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Perform material takeoffs from drawings
  • Assist in schedule maintenance and perform updates as directed
  • Assist in the maintenance of basic project record keeping
  • Preparation of work plans and more talkative


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma
  • 3+ years of direct related experience in Civil Project Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of geotechnical roadway and geosynthetic design
  • Strong experience in roadway design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD (Civil 3D), and other computer based design packages
  • Ability to travel to site when required


Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage will be dependent on experience.
