Are you a Quality Control Manager with aggregates experience who wants to take on a critical leadership role within our client’s operation?

The Opportunity

Managing a team of technical specialists and quality control professionals in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island, your technical expertise, results-oriented approach and strong communication skills will be the keys to success in this position.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Provide technical and engineering direction, management and leadership for QC employees.
  • Troubleshoot technical and engineering complications in the field.
  • Work with consultants, architects and engineers on concrete specifications and innovations.
  • Create mix designs and aggregate specifications for operational and sales use.
  • Develop, implements and monitor quality standards, processes and controls.
  • Support product development initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Materials), required.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
  • 10+ years of experience in Ready-Mix/Aggregates industry.
  • 5+ years management experience.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, strategic thinking, decision making and ability to influence others.
