Our client is seeking a Senior Account Executive for its workforce housing operations in Edmonton!

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for prospecting full cycle sales through customer interaction including prospecting, quotes, follow-ups, and managing orders for the Major Project division!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Work with prospective customers being receptive to their needs and achieving acceptable revenue levels and profit margins.
  • Develop and carry out a marketing plan for your territory including goals, target markets, initiatives launched through marketing, phone and personal contact.
  • Perform customer specific presentations on the company products and services.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stake holders on a regular basis to develop accurate cost estimates, scopes and clarifications for proposals.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to efficiently move the contract through review.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of availability and pricing on units within the region.
  • Work closely with service team to identify areas of improvement.
  • Attend branch meetings and shares constructive feedback on day to day activities that effect the overall branch success.
  • Visit customer locations to make sure site is accessible for equipment being ordered.
  • Lead the participation at various trade shows periodically.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of successful sales and business development experience.
  • Prior experience in construction, modular, and/or workforce housing industry preferred.
  • Construction or business related education preferred.
  • High level of drive, energy and initiative, proactive, and committed, with high standards and achievement orientation.
  • Must be willing to travel regionally.
  • Valid Class 5 license required.
