The Opportunity

Looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant professional with 5-7 years experience. Our client is centrally located Downtown Edmonton. If you have worked Yardi or QuickBooks, you are an asset. If you are looking for a stable opportunity to gain experience with projects and managing individuals, this will be a great role to add to your skill set and resources.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Monthly financial reporting.
  • Analysis of results and trends.
  • Cash management and cash forecasting.
  • Regulatory reporting.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • AP, AR and Payroll processing.
  • Account reconciliations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Accounting diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience.
  • Actively pursuing designation preferred.
  • Yardi experience strongly preferred, other ERP experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks an asset.
  • Construction accounting experience an asset.
  • GST experience an asset.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
