The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Lead Customer Engineering Support.

The successful individual has experience leading a team, has experience in software development, and has experience in Quality Assurance. Our NE Calgary client is utilizing leading edge aviation technology solutions in a variety of ways which include but are not limited to monitoring, diagnostics, & tracking components. If you are an experienced developer with a QA background, we want to hear from you!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Lead a team to monitor & respond to client needs for technical issues.
  • Report on metrics gathered from data to provide relevant reporting to stakeholders.
  • Train, motivate & foster a culture of continuous improvement within support team.
  • Document & maintain process, procedures, & work instructions.
  • Hands on development & testing.
  • Hands on and leading software & product testing.
  • Maintain a high energy environment.
  • Execute software development release life cycle as a team member.
  • Available 24/7 as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Experience with C, Java, SQL, DB2, C++, C#, Bash scripting.
  • Familiar with the serial protocols & data transfer concepts.
  • Experience in system or unit level testing, creating test plans or test procedures.
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment.
  • Experience in an embedded & enterprise environment.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Communication skills.
  • Ability to validate aircraft data monitoring.
  • Understanding of Flight Manuals, Performance Software, Publications an asset.
