The Opportunity

Our Nisku client is looking for a trades/craft recruiter to join their team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate must have experience recruiting in the construction industry and be comfortable with managing high volume recruitment. There is a strong possibility of this role becoming permanent!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Full-cycle recruitment including advertising jobs, reviewing applications, interviewing and assessing candidates, etc.
  • Coordinate/schedule drug and alcohol testing, verify trade tickets, create letters of employment, etc.
  • Maintain employee and subcontractor electronic and hardcopy files.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract candidates including personal networks, third party job boards, industry events, etc.
  • Maintain a steady candidate pool by proactively sourcing in anticipation of quick turnarounds.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Min.1-3 years of trades/craft recruitment experience.
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Hourly rate varies depending on experience.
