Our client is looking for the perfect candidate to cover a 3-month contract as a Trust Accounting Clerk.

The Opportunity

Currently seeking a Trust Accounting Clerk to join their Calgary Finance Department. This position will report to the Accounts Payable and Trust Team Leader. The Trust Accounting Clerk will provide support primarily to the Calgary office team in the area of Trust Accounting with secondary responsibilities focusing on Accounts Payable.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Must have experience using SAP with no training needed.
  • Ideal candidate would have minimum of 2 years’ experience in an independent trust accounting role within a legal environment.
  • Solid experience as a general accounting clerk within a professional services environment.
  • Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about current Alberta Law Society rules as they relate to Trust Accounting.
  • Strong software application skills including intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ideally have a background within the legal environment.
