The Opportunity

Currently seeking a working professional that has experience working with or supporting doctors. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized and professional, with experience creating social media posts and making edits to websites. Experience with QuickBooks is a key asset. Great opportunity to work from home and perform rewarding work for a non-for-profit organization.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Preparation and distribution of documents to Board and members.
  • Edit, revise and update website including text, images and SEO content.
  • Modifications and enhancements to existing website functions and features.
  • Monitoring of certification memberships and timely communication with members and inquiries.
  • Minutes at Annual General Meeting and all teleconferences and committee meetings.
  • Schedule all meetings for the board, committees and individual members.
  • Assist Journal Editor in preparation of the Canadian Journal of Addiction Medicine, including communication with formatting company and printers for distribution.
  • Maintaining monthly ledger & reconciliation of expenses and revenue.
  • Preparation of financial summary for each Board meeting.
  • Preparation of ledger, cheques, bank statements, etc for Auditors and support of obtaining annual tax audit and tax filing.
  • Monitor online forum and update as needed.
  • Source 7-10 social media posts weekly and schedule posts in Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Respond to all comments or tag someone to respond.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience supporting executives and attending Board meetings.
  • Strong organizational talents.
  • Experience working with and updating websites, including social media posts.
  • Familiarity with Table Press, WP Abstract Pro, Survey Monkey, QuickBooks Online, Doodle Poll, Go to Meeting, Google Calendars, Canva, Jing, Eventbrite, Fiverr, MS Office Suite is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is $50,400 per annum.
  • Work remotely from home, with exception of attending AGM.
