The Opportunity

An incredible opportunity for a Human Resources and Training Manager that is looking to have a meaningful impact in an international organization. Regarded as a strategic business partner, there will be a mandate to create and implement training programs and people development strategies to increase the organizational capabilities for the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing Human Resources policies and processes to support business operations.
This position will also be in consideration to become accountable for guiding and managing all facets of the Training Team, including but not limited to dealer recruitment and training, employee relations management, performance development, management coaching, and policy & practice development.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Provide consultation and interpretation of company HR policies and practices, including but not limited to Labour Legislation, Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Health & Safety.
  • Monitor hiring, termination and employee status changes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organization structure.
  • Coordinate with the payroll department, ensuring excellent flow of information during hires, herms, transfers and promotions.
  • Support the Vice-President as a champion for the engagement of the Western Canada Team.
  • Eventually lead the Training Group in the coordination and presentation of field level training programs for Store Operators and Customer Service Representatives.
  • Manage the e-learning software of internal online, computer-based training and develop e-learning courseware.
  • Manage external relationships with vendors, clients and talent agencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related program is mandatory.
  • Required to hold or be working towards a CHRP designation.
  • A minimum of three years of human resources leadership experience.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations, specifically the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights.
  • High integrity and demonstrated ability to deal professionally with confidential information and sensitive issues.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, positive, compassionate, creative and innovative.

Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
