Seeking a highly professional Office Administrator for our client located in downtown Calgary!
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Office Administrator to join an industry leading supplier of services to the oil & gas sector. To excel in this position, you will have a high level of professionalism and previous experience working in an office setting. A self starter, with an upbeat positive can-do attitude is a must in this Office Administrate role!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Answering and transferring incoming calls to the appropriate person.
- Greeting guests over the phone and in person.
- Maintaining staff schedules, appointments and meetings.
- Prepare boardroom and take meeting minutes as required.
- Travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Prepare expense reports for senior level staff.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentation and additional documents as required.
- Document control.
- Key contact for third party vendors.
- Coordinate seminars, workshops and events as needed.
- Ordering office supplies and additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially with Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Superior attention to detail.
- A polished and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Self starter who works efficiently with little supervision.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation will vary dependent on experience level.
