The Opportunity

Our client is a leader in modular construction solutions they have proven themselves as cost effective, dependable and reliable builders within various commercial sectors (hotels, apartments, senior and affordable multi-unit housing developments, government buildings, etc). The team is experiencing dynamic growth and have aggressive plans going forward. Join this dynamic team as a regional sales expert, use your extensive network to find new opportunities, develop bids, give guidance to functional team members, monitor and deliver projects profitably and to the satisfaction of all parties. This role will be critical to the successful execution of corporate growth plans.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Generate, qualify and follow up leads with managed regularity.
  • Monitor market developments and understand competitive activity.
  • Maintain strong technical understanding as it pertains to materials, installation and bid processes.
  • Work effectively with internal team members to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Build and maintain client network through regular communications and site visits.
  • Deliver presentations to potential and existing clients.
  • Maintain activities in CRM and complete paperwork and process as required.
  • Attend trade functions, community events and promotional activities to support the company.
  • Travel throughout Western Canada and northern regions (expected to be about 40%).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Minimum of five years of proven success in sales in the industry.
  • Previous experience in modular construction and in multi-storey residential construction industry would be an asset.
  • Business degree or a combination of experience and post-secondary accreditation would be an asset.
  • Strong communications skills, familiarity and experience using a CRM system.
  • Well-developed ability to plan and manage time and activities will be critical to success in the role.
