The Opportunity

Our client atop-quality service provider in the heating and fluid handling business in Canada and the US is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. Since its inception, our client has focused on growth, adding additional trucks, equipment and state-of-the-art technology to its service lines and prides itself on building great teams while focusing on innovation, so it can consistently provide the best, most efficient service to its clients.
The Sales Representative will be based in Midland, Houston or Oklahoma, and work in collaboration with our sales and technical team to help establish our client as a front runner in both produced water treatment and water transfer services.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Creating and developing a new client base through cold calling, networking and outside sales
  • Doing field visits, and selling directly to field operations and field offices
  • Maintaining and developing the existing customer base by delivering outstanding customer service
  • Network with clients through multiple avenues, including conferences, sports, industry functions and sporting events
  • Responsible for building and presenting technical proposals in person to the current and potential client base.
  • Working with the engineering and operations group to communicate customer needs
  • Monitoring jobs that are in progress, and following up with clients post job to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Understanding cost modelling and developing pricing strategies under evolving market conditions
  • Developing customer relationships
  • Create sales and strategy reports:
  • To be completed in collaboration with existing sales team members
  • Emailed to Sales Group and/or Executive Leadership Team
  • Information about where and who competitors are working for
  • Information about new potential clients and their coming work in the future

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Training

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the USA on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience in oilfield services related experience
  • Must possess a Technical Diploma, or a degree in Engineering or Commerce
  • Knowledge of produced water treatment and water transfer technology is beneficial
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must maintain all requires safety tickets; including, but not limited to: First Aid and all oil company orientations
  • Must possess a clean driver’s MVR
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Must be physically fit and able to pass our pre-employment screening

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Willing to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Willing to comply with Aureus’ drug & alcohol-free and harassment-free work environment
  • Willing to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment
